Picture "La Rivière Series No1" (2024)
The La Rivière series plays with the infinite possibilities of abstract painting packed into 48 small color fields. Every glance at the picture allows the viewer to discover new details in the colors, materials and fine structures. "The small squares have fascinated me from the very beginning and I have dedicated a series to them. I love the challenge of giving each small picture its own character and ultimately bringing them all together to form the big picture. I use oil pastels, charcoal crayons, acrylic paint and a lot of playfulness when creating. The clear arrangement of the 48 squares, each measuring 8x8 cm, gives the entire picture a harmonious, gentle aura, including the solid wood frame and oak veneer." The work is signed and dated and sealed with an additional varnish. Andrea Reichhart lives in Germany, studied at the Conservatory of the Arts in Amsterdam/Netherlands and has exhibited her work in Barcelona, Madrid, Zurich and Monaco.
