Eva Recordon
My works arise from the need to express what I have experienced and my own perception.
Here the joy of creative activity is superficial, because painting means for me above all a creative, individual transformation of the visible as in a metamorphosis. It releases forces and the creative and lively process enriches my life, which becomes more fulfilling and colorful.
The color and form impulses in my paintings arise from a transformation of personal impressions and mental memories. They are transformation and intuitive expression, which is by no means arbitrary.
The brush is guided by the inner movement out of itself.
Color, structure and line are to create tension in the picture and yet bring order to the composition. Spontaneity, experimentation and dynamism determine the painting process of the expressive abstract works. Through the combination of material, form and color, three-dimensional, relief-like design spaces are created.

A work of art does not have to be understood, but felt and it is my concern to arouse feelings and emotions in the viewer.
