Sabine Klara Perpetua Lindenstreich harbored a passion for painting and drawing since childhood.
She perfected her unique talent for abstract art over the years autodidactically.
Instead of working mainly with brushes, since 2015 she has been creating her artworks with a variety of large wooden tools in order to be able to apply paint to her canvases over large areas, smoothly and fluently.
She found influences for her painting style through visits to large metropolises and places located on bodies of water. A great inspiration is the Mediterranean region, while also the architecture and the fast pace of large cities serve as important influences of some works. She finds further inspiration in the aesthetics and mood of significant scenes from works of film production. The artist uses these sources of inspiration to process what she has seen within the framework of abstract techniques.
One particular series she is working on in her artistic career is the ongoing Rush series, which is characterized by strong contrasting tones. It began in 2019 after a New York residency and will be continually expanded with more paintings.
