Picture "Neutral formation #4" (2024)
In the "Neutral" series, I deliberately forgo my usual, powerful color palette. My works are thus reduced to geometric shapes and structure and stand for simplicity, calm and harmonious interplay. For this series, Stoeppel uses high-quality acrylic paints, stretcher frames and canvases (here transparent primed raw canvas). The works are mounted on stretcher bars, treated with fixative and thus protected from dust and UV rays. The work is signed and dated on the back.
