Picture "Bloom One" (2017)
The flowers were individually drawn when they were at their peak, and later composed on canvas in the studio. The space between the flowers forms the dark background, against which the often complementary colours.The flowers are painted smooth with acrylic paint layer upon layer. Due to the many color nuances and the brightness, it is as if a light is burning behind it. Reinforced by the clear, austere contour lines, an association is evoked with stained glass. The painting is realistic, but stylized at the same time, given shape, making it a lot exciting. The painting is ready to hang.
