Picture "Bouquet Three" (2023)
Flower bouquets are central to this work. In addition to the fascination with flowers, the different shapes and structures of each individual flower appeal to me. The flowers are painted layer upon layer. They are designed realistically but stylized at the same time. I have enhanced the lighting effect through the many color nuances, the brightness and the high contrast. This makes it look like there is a light on behind it. The painting is ready to hang.
