Picture "Blue eyes" (2016)
The picture shows the upper half of the face of a young man with wet hair looking intensely at the viewer with his blue eyes. Drops of water are visible on the skin and the damp hair reflects the sunlight. The outline of a swimming pool and an expanse of water can be seen in the background. The painting was inspired by a situation we are all familiar with, when someone appears at the edge of a swimming pool and the fascination of this brief moment captivates us. The work is dated + signed on the back.
