The painting is inspired by the views and impressions the artist has on his way to the studio when he drives along the Isar. The course of the river itself and the color of the water - depending on the light and the season - are constantly changing. Above all, the dynamics of this still largely wildly flowing river are imprinted, which is recognizable in the forms of the painting. The artist has chosen an abstract painting style that nevertheless leaves the origin recognizable. Due to the choice of colors, one could think of a day after a thunderstorm in the mountains, when the river carries a lot of debris, sand and boulders. The painting is signed and dated on the back.
