Free forms vibrate and flow in the colors of the rainbow on special painting paper. The result is a pictorial composition reduced to the essentials. These forms are characteristic of Heinz Stoewer's work and appear in different variations in many of his paintings. Here they are highlighted and placed next to each other in isolation to form an abstract composition of bright colors on a white background. The work is signed and dated on the reverse.
About Heinz Stoewer
In my early 40s, I ended my career as a lawyer and banker in favor of painting, which has been the center of my life ever since.
I live in Bad Tölz and Palm Springs, California.
My painting varies between real images and abstraction, where the interplay of form and color, that is, the painting itself is as much at the center of my work as the message.
Water reflections, nature-inspired themes and images of people, especially male bodies or sections of them, are focal points in my work series.
The influence of the flood of images on the Internet on us and our self-perception is questioned and the equality of alternative lifestyles is important to me.
I am inspired by various media, my own experience and everything that happens around me.
