Picture "COVERED" (2024)
The relationship between man and nature as well as the play with different techniques on robust painting paper form the background of this semi-abstract work by Helene Fiegl. Color, form and media (acrylic, ink, colored pencils and collage elements) form a lively yet harmonious coexistence. The dynamic lines and powerful layers of color reflect the tension between the hidden and the visible. The female figure faces the viewer head-on. She is covered only by a cloak. Her figure is defined by lines and areas of color - whereby the body itself seems to consist of various components detached from the form. Vegetable elements and fragments of letters permeate the atmospheric interplay of form and color.
