About Kani Alavi
Through colorful landscapes leads Kani Alavi, in which he mixes his imagination and joy of color with what he sees with his eyes.
Alavi lived in northern Persia until he was 25 years old. In 1980 he came to Berlin and studied free painting at the HdK Berlin and became a master student of Prof. Klaus Fußmann. Through his painting technique he wraps his flowers in a fragrant veil, delicate and yet so colorful. The longing for more harmony, friendship and love is mixed with summer feelings. In 1996 he founded the organization "East Side Gallery" to preserve the wall in Berlin painted by artists from all over the world. Through his exhibitions in Germany, Moscow, Seoul, Lausanne and numerous other countries Kani Alavi became internationally known.
