At some point I needed a vignette for one of my artist portfolios. The round section of the work I chose was so inspiring that I have now created a small painting in its own right. The combination of square and circle plunges us into a world of order and balance. Cubist influences combine with the minimalist construction to create a powerful symphony. The glossy surfaces around the square are a particular highlight. This creates an almost three-dimensional effect in the dignified painting. The painting takes the viewer on a journey and encourages reflection on the complexity of perception. It will create an atmosphere of energy and modern elegance in any home. Geometry can be so romantic...
