Picture "White Cheek" (2020)
The work was done in gouache and graphite on a kraft paper prepared with acrylic. The gouache was applied in different layers of color on the kraft paper and washed out after drying. Then the image motif was worked on the unique substrate and sealed with a final varnish.

For more than 35 years I work as a freelance artist and illustrator. I live and work in my hometown Marmagen - located in the beautiful Eifel - exactly between Cologne and Trier.
My pictorial preference lies in the representation of the living. Unadorned and direct - with a clear view of the actual motif.
