In the foreground, we see a man whose facial features are characterized by a mixture of pensiveness and longing. He gazes into the distance, as if he is immersed in another world or in his memories. A fine, bluish smoke drifts between the mountains, mystically enveloping the scenery and creating an atmosphere of mystery and uncertainty. An indefinable, small red spot hovers above the mountains, like a distant memory or an unattainable wish. Thin lines and tube-like shapes run through the entire work. These lines could represent roots that connect the man to his surroundings.
