My artwork Material Battle I is very large. If you look closely at the photo, you can see that it consists of four parts (90 x 205 cm). A total of 180 x 410 cm. Production and extraction, which among other things make up the use, determine the natural space in production material and production area and their components in production units. The limited possibilities that characterize use are also part of the theme. By visualizing time-related influences of certain processes, exaggeration of effectiveness, regeneration processes, maximum absorption capacity of interventions and reversal of habitual impressions, the view is directed to the fact that capacities have a limited endurance and in a positive sense reflect the capacity of nature to suffer. Furthermore, the position of humans in this utilization process is discussed. The influence he exerts and the consequences he bears seem to share his position, but in reality become the dichotomy of his existence. Persons appear, sometimes simultaneously, as direction-givers and decision-makers or as passive bearers of events. The positions merge into one another and integrate themselves into the processes as components or contrasts to them. The role of man in the use of nature is to be questioned.
