A beautiful and impressive sunset by the lake is the very atmospheric subject of Peter Nottrott's impressionistic oil painting. During many walks in nature, I collected the impressions that provided the inspiration for this work. Having specialized in acrylic paints for a very long time, oil paints are an enrichment that offer me other possibilities of painting that want to be (re)discovered. The painting has painted side edges and is signed on the front bottom right by Peter Nottrott and dated with the year of creation.
