A sunset by the sea: water, wind, sailing boats, the setting sun and the clouds and their reflections on the water create an atmospheric maritime scene. Modern, abstract and expressionist acrylic painting. The maritime diversity of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power, delicacy, its rhythms, its phenomena... - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings. On beautiful walks by the sea, I like to gather inspiration for pictures like these: feeling the wind in my hair, smelling the sea, hearing the sound of the waves, seeing color movements in the water and in the sky. The painting has painted edges and is signed on the front bottom right by Peter Nottrott and dated with the year of creation.
