Detailed description

Picture "Slim: Sunny Sailing 1" (2025)

I mixed turquoise, purple, lavender, yellow, red, white, blue, orange, magenta, pink, beige and brown on my palette, resulting in this atmospheric picture in a large, slim panoramic format with lots of sailboats, while a sunset is reflected in the water... a sailing scene as a beautiful maritime moment. The maritime diversity of colors, shapes and the complexity of nature by the sea - its power or delicacy, its rhythms, its phenomena - is an important source of inspiration for my maritime paintings, especially since I live by the Baltic Sea. The painting has painted edges and is signed on the front bottom right by Peter Nottrott and dated with the year of creation.

About Peter Nottrott

His courage and his sense for developments bring him - as well as his pictures - forward.
Instead of the adapted "one must" he decides for his very own way - that does good, stands out and is reflected in his environment. He is an artist, bon vivant, family man, walker, buffet lover, master strategist, traveler, expert in visuals and much more..... Peter Nottrott is a painter with great passion. His extreme creative power is an almost inexhaustible source of abstract color compositions. Color tones and forms develop under his brushstrokes again and again into positive and dynamic, often powerful works of art - with considerable inner stability and composure.
