Lightning and thunder are not only opposites, but also a dynamic pairing. The abstract, tension-filled painting in portrait format is inspired by the experience of a thunderstorm: like lightning and thunder, the warm colors seem to meet the cooler hues. Black and white, orange, red, blue, gray and pink hues seem to meet very dynamically or almost explosively. The center is rich in details and contrasts, while the background is rather flat and soft. The painting has painted side edges and is signed by Peter Nottrott on the front bottom right and dated with the year of creation.
