Picture "Time for a change (6)" (2023)
A woman on her way. The exterior of the person is depicted with a few strong lines, which become finer in some places and show details, in order to reflect the inner state of mind. In the background, the person is depicted as a whole figure, walking, with a packed bag. A departure at sunrise or sunset, a step into a new phase of life. The works in this series concentrate entirely on the line. The backgrounds are two-dimensional, the lines determine the emotion or feeling for the motif depicted. The work is a unique handmade piece, the color areas are applied with a roller, the black lines with a brush.
