This beautiful, red lighthouse of Texel - it is the only lighthouse in the Netherlands that looks out to sea on three sides. The sea is in the artist's blood - sea, waves and the surf on the coast remain the primary inspiration for her paintings. She wants to tell a story and create a harmonious, positive sense of place.
