About Silke Bosbach
I am an internationally working artist and was a Private Lecturer at private art academies.
I completed my studies in fine arts with Prof. Dr. P. Rech, among others.
Nature with its landscapes, especially those of the Bergisches Land, the North Sea islands and Halligen, influences my art. But also the awe of rugged rock formations and unique mountain scenery, emerges in my overall work.
As an artist, my main interests lie in the areas of painting and art on the building, where I am a certified artist with registration in the Federal Artist Database "Art on the Building" / Federal Office for Building & Regional Planning, Germany.
My work can be found in museums (including the Museum Kunst der Weste / Alkersum Föhr, Deutsches Museum Munich), galleries and private collections. But also in the sculpture park at my own studio. In addition, I was allowed to receive various art scholarships.
In recent years, my own artistic activity has shifted to the focus as a curator, as well as the private art promotion of (life-aged) artists in the context of artist-in-residence grants.
