In bright oil colors a scene on the beach is depicted. Due to the large raindrops on a pane in front of the action, the shapes are perceptible changed. In the background 4 people are walking on the beach. Sea, beach, people and clouds are out of focus, the drops in the foreground, however, sharp. Ulla Kutter thus succeeds in creating a picture with two optical levels and a fresh beach atmosphere. TO see is a beach of the North Sea island of Borkum. The painter has painted this picture in two, sometimes three layers of oil paint.
