Detailed description

Picture "The Jump" (2023)

"The Leap" is an abstract colorful painting that symbolizes the freedom and courage of a person to make the decision to step out of the comfort of a safe environment and venture into uncharted territory. The painting focuses on a person jumping into the water from an environment filled with warm colors, filled with yellow, orange, red and purple. "The Leap" is an encouraging painting that inspires all to embark on unknown adventures and muster the courage to break out of familiar patterns.

About Uwe Fehrmann

Hello and welcome, my name is Uwe Fehrmann and I was born in Berlin in 1962.
Already in my childhood I loved to paint. In my youth I was trained in various techniques of painting and drawing and a little later I was a member of an artist group. After graduating from high school, I studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Study trips took me to Italy and France. In Hamburg I later began to work full-time as an artist. Initially, I worked on various art projects and mostly large-scale naturalistic paintings at home and abroad, as well as for theater, film and television. Over time, I developed a real passion for paintings that are beautiful - but also thought-provoking and can contain different levels of reality. I feel very comfortable working with my subjects, I love the colors and the liveliness of painting, because here I can live out all my creative fantasies and ideas. My paintings are meant to convey joy while reflecting on life. I would be happy if you share my view of art and get a piece of it in your own home. Thank you and have fun discovering and hanging your new artwork wishes you, Uwe Fehrmann
