Detailed description

Picture "LOL" (2022)

The wall object "LOL" by Mark Hellbusch, created in 2022, measures 110 x 80 x 3 cm and features a vibrant, dynamic color palette. The upper section contains two rows of circular pots of warm colors such as yellow, orange, red, pink and purple, which radiate energy. The lower section contains colder tones such as black, brown, blue and green, which create a calming atmosphere. The large, triangular color fields in the lower section are in intense tones such as red, pink, yellow and blue, which run into each other and create an artistic disorder. Splashes and splotches of color indicate creative use of the palette and lend the work additional liveliness. The title "LOL" stands for laughter and lightness, which captures the playful character of the work. It shows art as a living, changing process and inspires the joy of experimentation and the discovery of beauty in the variety of colors.
