Detailed description

Picture "In the mountains" (2023)

"In the mountains" by Mark Hellbusch, created in 2023, is a fascinating wall object measuring 64 x 72 cm. This creative color box artwork invites the viewer to explore the many facets of nature and immerse themselves in their own interpretations. The upper section consists of five rectangular color fields in green, blue, yellow, white and violet, thickly applied with cracks and overlays that create three-dimensional depth. The lower section comprises twelve circular color fans in vivid colors such as green, blue, violet, pink, black, magenta, orange, yellow and white. Splashes and splotches of color enliven the surface. "In the mountains" invites the viewer to think beyond the visible elements and develop their own ideas. The combination of bold colors and complex textures creates a visual dynamic that invites a deeper exploration of nature and human experience.
