Kunstraum Seitz
I have enjoyed artistic design and drawing since I was a child.
Paint and paper were my favorite "toys".
I studied architecture and business administration and worked in various industries. As a sideline, I have repeatedly attended painting courses, seminars and painting events with various artists. In 2018, I made painting my main activity.
In phases when I wasn't painting, I was disconnected from myself. Something was missing in my life. It's the dance with my hands that takes place above the screen, which is connected to my soul
I need that.
The first idea for a picture comes suddenly. What I see every day, what I have been familiar with for a long time, suddenly becomes the idea for a painting or I am touched by something special, something new. I give more and more space to intuitive painting and often something different and unintentional emerges. I also often start a new painting to try it in a different way. It is exciting to see how different forces act on an impulse.
These impulses also guide my technical approach: Using thin paint, a small brush or charcoal, I place dots, lines, areas until a map emerges. Many superimposed, painted over. Openwork layers of paint in which the light refracts differently and an energetic luminosity is created through optical mixtures.
In the end, I have a painting full of beauty and joie de vivre. An area full of love.

My need for colorful movements, for "connecting", "not giving up", has always been there, now I'm living it out.
