1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time you call up a website, the webserver only automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the call, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call.

This access data is evaluated exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and improve our offer. In accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, this serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests. All-access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting services provided by a third-party provider

As part of a processing operation on our behalf, a third-party provider provides hosting and website display services on our behalf. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are outweighed by a balance of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

2. Data collection and use for contract processing, contacting and opening a customer account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us in the context of your order, when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or email) or when registering for a customer account. Mandatory fields are marked as such because in these cases we absolutely need the data to process the contract, or to process your contact or open a customer account, and you cannot complete the order and/or open an account or send the contact without providing it. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process the contract and your enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. b GDPR. Upon completion of the contract or deletion of your customer account, any further processing of your data will be restricted, and your data will be deleted upon expiry of the retention period applicable under relevant regulations unless you expressly consent to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by law, of which we inform you in this notice. Your customer account can be deleted at any time. For this purpose, you can either send a message to the contact option specified below or use the relevant function available in the customer account.

3. Transfer of data

We disclose your data to the shipping company in the scope required for the delivery of the ordered goods according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. b GDPR. Depending on the payment service provider you have selected during the ordering process, we disclose the payment details collected for order processing purposes to the bank commissioned to handle the payment and, as the case may be, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. Some of those data are collected by the selected payment service providers themselves if you open an account with them. In such a case, during the ordering process, you must register with your payment service provider using your access data. In this respect, the privacy notice of the relevant payment service provider applies.
Occasionally, we disclose individual data (name and address) according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. a GDPR, recital 47, to carefully selected companies whose products may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive further advertising from these companies, you can object to this at any time.

4. Email newsletters and postal advertising

Email advertising if you subscribe to the newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent according to Art. 6 (1) 1 lit a GDPR, using the data required or disclosed by you separately for this purpose.

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter service at any time. For this purpose, you can either send a message to the contact option specified below or use the opt-out link in the newsletter. Upon unsubscription, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data or we reserve the right to further use your personal data in the scope and manner permitted by the law, of which we inform you in this notice.

Email advertising without subscribing to the newsletter and your right to opt-out

If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not opted out, we reserve the right, in accordance with Section 7 (3) of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG), to regularly send you email offers for similar products to those you have already purchased from our range. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in addressing our customers in an advertising manner, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests.
You can opt-out of this use of your email address at any time by sending a message to the contact option specified below or by using the opt-out link in the advertising email, without incurring any costs beyond the cost of transfer calculated at the base rates.

The newsletter is sent to you by our service provider who processes data on our behalf and to whom we disclose your email address.

This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Postal advertising and your right to opt-out

In addition, we reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send you interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in addressing our customers in an advertising manner in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f GDPR, which outweigh our interests.

The advertising mailings are provided as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we pass on your data for this purpose.

You can opt-out of the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

5. Data processing for payment transactions

Credit assessment

If we make advance payments, e.g. when purchasing on account, it is necessary to obtain identity and credit information from specialised service companies (credit agencies) in order to conclude the contract in accordance with Art. 22 (2) lit. a GDPR. For this purpose, we transmit your personal data required for a credit assessment to the following companies:

informa Solutions GmbH
Rheinstraße 99
76532 Baden-Baden, Germany

or

WID Wirtschafts-Informations-Dienst GmbH
Schwägrichenstr. 3
04107 Leipzig, Germany

Appropriate measures to safeguard your rights, freedoms and legitimate interests will be taken into account. You have the opportunity to express your point of view and to challenge the decision by contacting the contact point described below. After the contract has been fully executed, your data processed for this purpose will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes that are legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

6. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website in order to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and any ratings collected, as well as to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after they have placed an order.

This serves to protect our legitimate interests in optimal marketing by enabling secure shopping in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f GDPR, which prevail in the context of a balancing of interests. The trust badge and the services advertised with it are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany.

When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, the date and time of the call-up, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call-up. This access data is not evaluated and automatically deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Further personal data is transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or if you have already registered to use them. The contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.

Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for web analysis

This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (www.google.de). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) 1 lit. f GDPR. As the IP anonymization is activated on this website, however, your IP address will become within Google previously abbreviated and thus anonymised by the European Union or other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. After the end of the purpose and the end of the use of Google Analytics by us, the data collected in this context will be deleted.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have activated the "personalised advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data will be temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.
