I can still remember very well the thought of squatting on the ground outside in shorts and deciding to become a painter.
Shortly before that, I had seen something about a painter on television. "I want to do that too, I want to be a painter" I thought. But first I had to go to kindergarten.
Now I am a painter. My subjects mainly revolve around human nature. People and animals determine my painting, seen in different positions and from different angles. Because we all have our own perspective.
Touching each other and yet being alone. Influencing each other and yet going our own ways.
The figures are accompanied by the chaos of colors that mix together as chance would have it, as life plays out. The result is large-format paintings in which there is much to discover.
