Detailed description

Picture "Crab" (2010)

My inspiration for this painting was on a fish market. I became fascinated by the shapes and colors of, in this case, shrimps. The figurative image imposes itself. You can undeniably recognize crustaceans that seem to move in a swirling spiral. Pay particular attention to those transparent colors with all kinds of nuances. Also take a look at those translucent shapes. Slippery and shiny, cold and wet. The statue almost looks like a model. But it is mainly the shape, color and composition that last. The painting has a wooden anthracite-colored floating frame. It is ready to hang.
