Detailed description

Sculpture "Large head hand" (2000)

Sculpture made of lime wood, oiled surface, unique, signed. The head as a human free space. A wide variety of processes, thoughts and developments take place in the head. Each ongoing process creates tension and strain. This is where the various emotional states manifest themselves; it is from here that behavior, thought processes and attitudes to life are controlled. The soft, wave-like, harmonious form inside the head contrasts with the pointed, aggressive one. This therefore refers both to the conflict within the head itself and to what pushes outwards as a result and ultimately determines thinking and life as a whole.
