Sculpture "Exchange of ideas" (2023)
The pair of sculptures "Gedankenaustausch" consists of two female bodies made of fired clay. The two bodies are facing each other, with one of the bodies having no head. This representation can evoke various interpretations and encourage the viewer to reflect on themes such as communication, identity and the exchange of thoughts. The deliberate decision not to give one of the bodies a head indicates that sometimes words are not enough to convey thoughts and that non-verbal communication can play an important role. The dimensions of the figures are 22 h/9b/3T and 34h/10b/3T measured incl. wooden stand. The figures were treated with cold patina after firing, as was the wooden base. Works with signature
