About Kirsten Serowski
The Herford artist and graduate designer lives and works in her hometown of Herford in his own studio with attached gallery.
The imagery opens up to the viewer without ifs and buts, because the image message is neither encoded nor encrypted, but clearly formulated.
"I want to capture the light and the moment in my pictures."
Her preferred means of expression is oil painting, with which she often stages large-format motifs in her distinctive style. Cheerful impressions of water and sea, again and again scenes of people on the beach or in cafes and boats in summer light shimmering colorfulness, captured moment reflections in impasto lightness.
