KNÖ-REI received a nomination for the renowned International André Evard Prize for Concrete-Constructivist Art with this work in 2021. This art prize is one of the world's most important art prizes in the field of concrete-constructive art. --- Contrasts, the versus of two things, are essential for our visual perception. A constant reference to the contrasting forces that shape our world. While working on this piece, I created more and more contrasts: from the colors to the material used. Every angle now reveals a new dimension, capturing the beauty of geometry. Every brushstroke, every surface is well thought out, minimalist and yet full of emotion. I invite the viewer to enter into an active conversation with the work. You too can discover your individual 7+x contrasts.
