Sculpture "Homo Delphinus" (2021)
This complex work of art was created in front of the public in my show pavilion on the Kiellinie from spring to summer 2021. It not only addresses the endangered nature of species but also the image of humans at a turning point in history.
About Marcus Meyer
Marcus Meyer has been working as an artist and sculptor since 1993.
During this time he has participated in numerous art exhibitions and installations. (Industralized Being- Simone Menne Gallery, Polar Bear- Kiel, parts of Gegenward- Kronshagen) His sculptural studies are mainly concerned with the themes of man and nature. As a visionary, he assembles a wooden blank from many individual parts, from which he then works out the expressive form of the subject in sculptural activity.
