A man on his way. The exterior of the person is depicted with a few strong lines, which become finer in places and reveal details, in order to reflect the inner state of mind. In the background, the person is depicted as a whole figure, walking, with a packed bag. A departure at sunrise or sunset, a step into a new phase of life. The works in this series concentrate entirely on the line. The backgrounds are flat, the lines determine the emotion or feeling for the motif depicted. The works are individual pieces created by hand, the colored areas are applied with a roller, the black lines are painted over them with a brush.
