"La Vida" (Life), a large oblong painting from the" Blessings" series, captures the essence of life. Abstract and multicolored, it weaves dark and light tones in vertical overlap. The painting technique with acrylic on canvas, using a palette knife, creates transparencies that symbolize the layers of life. The paint applications look like wound plasters, arranged like rainbows, representing highs and lows. Poetically, the transparencies reveal the first and last layers of color, a reflection of life with all its positive and negative nuances. In balanced harmony, the image shows hope and confidence.

Toni Nohe, German artist with South American roots, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow Poland.
