Detailed description

Picture "the feeling of freedom2" (2024)

Through the use of highly pigmented acrylic paints and wood stain, the materiality of the paint becomes a theme, ranging from matte and velvety to transparent and translucent, resulting in a visceral and sometimes thickly impastoed surface. All my artworks are mounted on durable, triple-primed, gallery-quality cotton canvas and are ready to hang. I include a certificate of authenticity detailing the materials used and the date the painting was completed. I use high quality materials such as Lascau products and UV protective enamel to protect from sunlight.Please understand that the colors may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your screen due to the results of my digital camera and your monitor.

Christa Haack is an experienced German painter who has exhibited her work internationally, including in Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, the USA, Canada, Switzerland and Estonia.
She works informally - unrestricted by rules or styles. The details of her paintings appear organically throughout the creative process. She composes abstract works that present striking textures and sublime surfaces, each appearing as if shaped by time.
