Picture "Neutral Mirroring! (Diptych)" (2022)
The Mirroring! series is inspired by the well-known Rorschach test images. The work "Neutral Mirroring" is painted on unprimed pure cotton. The acrylic colors soak deeply into the fabric. The pigment granulates in some places and the different colors appear rather glazed, but at the same time very colorful and vibrant. The canvas is slightly transparent. For this series Stoeppel uses high quality acrylic paints, stretcher and canvas. The works are treated with fixative and thus protected from dust and UV rays. The artwork "Neutral Mirroring" is signed and dated on the back.
