Picture "Demitte e transcendere" (2023)
This large work is an eye-catcher for any modern room. You look at it, sitting comfortably, perhaps with a glass of good wine in his hand and matching music in your ear. At some point it takes you on a journey. It soothes, takes away the mundane and lets you arrive here. My idea for this and why I painted this picture just so, was, Everything is "becoming and passing" in Latin: "demitte e transcendere". Transferred I have a little story from it, which I then implemented in painting. A game of my imagination. Not more. But also not less. How would it be if we found an ancient artifact. Maybe in the ice or somewhere else, which would prove to us that we are much older than we think? And what if we discovered this within ourselves? If we would remember back who we actually are.
