This imposing work captivates at first sight. It is extremely multi-layered and very intricately worked. The idea behind it is: everything is in flux. Cultures, ways of life and also art are never static. That's why it's not tragic at all when familiar patterns break away. Dirk Groß comments: "when old things fade, it creates spaces for new ideas."
About Dirk Groß
My work is profound and multi-layered, just like life itself.
I am a painter and graphic artist, philosopher, poet and a spiritual person. My art is always also a mirror of exactly these experiences. Creatively, new paths open up to me again and again, which always have further tools and experience in the goal. Painting is for me the final transfer of experiences and philosophical; poetic ways of thinking into the two-dimensionality of the picture language.
