Detailed description

Sculpture "On the beach" (2024)

The inspiration for this painting came from long, summery walks along the beach on the island of Sylt. Pure vacation feeling and enjoyment. Every lover of the sea will be moved by the gentle or powerful waves, with white whitecaps dancing on their crests. Long sandy beaches, shimmering from beige to yellow depending on the time of day. The "On the beach" wall sculpture consists of 5 canvas triangles screwed together. The screws can also be removed to hang the elements individually. Painted in acrylic in off-white, blue, beige and yellow. For the wall sculpture with its different heights, you need a surface with a maximum width of 75 cm and a maximum height of 70 cm.

About Dorothe Willeke-Jungfermann

To be a good painter, you need four things: a soft heart, a fine eye, a light hand and always freshly washed brushes.
- Anselm Feuerbach It is a gift for me to be able to make other people happy with my paintings, prints and wall sculptures. I love life and see the world as colorful and cheerful. This is reflected in my paintings. My works are characterized by intense colors, geometric shapes and abstractions. I have always been fascinated by the diversity of artistic genres and techniques. I have been working as a freelance photographer, visual artist and freelance artist in the Munich suburbs for 13 years. As a native of northern Germany, my heart beats for the coast and the sea. Motifs that can be found again and again in my work. I would be delighted if my work reached your heart and my art embellished your rooms. My works can be found in private collections. You can also see them at art fairs and exhibitions.
