Picture "Solar Impulse, solar airplane" (2014)
The "Solar Impulse" glider is an aircraft project by the Swiss Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg. It is about developing sustainable airplanes that do without fossil fuels. This painting was finished by Uwe Fehrmann exactly one week before the nuclear accident and points out the contradiction of energy hunger and nuclear safety. It is dominated by the color yellow, one seems to feel the warmth and energy of the sun, a power that is inexhaustible and can replace other energy sources.
