Detailed description

Picture "Water Lilies, No. 1, Water Lilies" (2020)

Peace and harmony is in the air. Water lilies are reflected in the lake and reflect the summer. The warmth and the summery shimmering of the air were implemented in the interplay of different painting techniques, such as acrylic painting and charcoal and chalk drawing. Countless layers of paint and overlays ensure that this work of art seems to live in the light and the viewer never tires of discovering new details.

About Uwe Fehrmann

Hello and welcome, my name is Uwe Fehrmann and I was born in Berlin in 1962.
Already in my childhood I loved to paint. In my youth I was trained in various techniques of painting and drawing and a little later I was a member of an artist group. After graduating from high school, I studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Study trips took me to Italy and France. In Hamburg I later began to work full-time as an artist. Initially, I worked on various art projects and mostly large-scale naturalistic paintings at home and abroad, as well as for theater, film and television. Over time, I developed a real passion for paintings that are beautiful - but also thought-provoking and can contain different levels of reality. I feel very comfortable working with my subjects, I love the colors and the liveliness of painting, because here I can live out all my creative fantasies and ideas. My paintings are meant to convey joy while reflecting on life. I would be happy if you share my view of art and get a piece of it in your own home. Thank you and have fun discovering and hanging your new artwork wishes you, Uwe Fehrmann
