About Heike Schümann
Heike Schümann is a visual artist who specializes in the figurative depiction of women in an abstract style.
She is also inspired by her home in northern Germany. The different seas in their effervescent and calm ways and the fascination of nature always provide her with new ideas for her art. She learned the compositions and proportions of portrait painting in Hamburg. She attended the international educational institution in Steinbergkirche/Northern Germany for nude studies. She also studied abstract painting at the Kandern Art Academy in southern Germany. Over the years, Heike Schümann has developed her own style of painting, which combines dynamic and expressive forms. She places particular emphasis on the female body, emphasizing its individuality, self-confidence and strength.
