Detailed description

Picture "Frog Song" (2024)

"Frog Song" is inspired by the diversity of nature and radiates a lively and colorful mood. Not only has an exotic scene full of strange flowers and leaves been created with oil paints, but on closer inspection you can also discover a well-camouflaged frog that fits perfectly into its surroundings. "Frog Song" is perfect for nature lovers who love the evening croaking of frogs and can enjoy this special scene with the camouflaged frog. The expressionist, semi-abstract work also fits perfectly into an interior with lots of plants and gives it an additional, special component. Technique: Oil paints with the finest pigmentation on a high-quality, hand-stretched linen/cotton mix stretcher frame. The 1.5 cm thick edges are carefully painted.

About Judith Riemer

Judith Riemer is a German artist from the district of Hildesheim.
She has been presenting her works in galleries, museums and at art fairs around the world since 2017. Previous highlights include exhibitions in New York and Dubai. Her art has already won several awards and been published in international magazines and art books. Her works can be found in private collections in Germany, Italy and Austria. Judith Riemer's works are characterized by an imaginative and mysterious aesthetic. They invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a multi-layered universe in which time and space remain deliberately vague. Familiar elements such as leaves, people and animals are given a new interpretation in order to reflect the true nature of things. The artist concentrates on the attentive and sensitive observation of the hidden.
