Detailed description

Picture "Horizon wide" (2024)

"Horizontweit" is inspired by a colorful evening sky with diverse cloud formations in the midst of nature. The clouds, which converge in perspective, move dramatically across the sky, while the horizon appears deep and far-reaching. The abstract, gestural painting with sketchy lines lends the picture a lively and dynamic quality.

About Judith Riemer

Judith Riemer is a German artist from the district of Hildesheim.
She has been presenting her works in galleries, museums and at art fairs around the world since 2017. Previous highlights include exhibitions in New York and Dubai. Her art has already won several awards and been published in international magazines and art books. Her works can be found in private collections in Germany, Italy and Austria. Judith Riemer's works are characterized by an imaginative and mysterious aesthetic. They invite the viewer to immerse themselves in a multi-layered universe in which time and space remain deliberately vague. Familiar elements such as leaves, people and animals are given a new interpretation in order to reflect the true nature of things. The artist concentrates on the attentive and sensitive observation of the hidden.
