Detailed description

Picture "Wind fleeting" (2023)

"Windflüchtig" creates an impressive connection between nature, energy and the dynamic play of the elements. The abstracted tree in front of a deep horizon lends the wild landscape a fascinating atmosphere with dynamic movement. The color palette of grey, sienna, dark red, turquoise, brown and white creates an impressive contrasting effect and captures the mood of a cool day in the clear light of nature. The landscape is depicted with strongly structured, bold brushstrokes and gestural movements that convey an intense experience to the viewer. The dark landscape contrasts with a lighter, dynamic sky in various shades of gray and hues. The perspective of the lines literally draws the viewer into the work, while the energetic movements of the brushstrokes convey the feeling of being outdoors on a cool day and being swept along by the wind.

About Judith Riemer

Judith Riemer is a German artist from the district of Hildesheim.
She has been presenting her works in galleries, museums and at art fairs around the world since 2017. Previous highlights include exhibitions in New York and Dubai. Her art has already won several awards and been published in international magazines and art books. Her works can be found in private collections in Germany, Italy and Austria. Judith Riemer's works are characterized by an imaginative and mysterious aesthetic. Familiar elements such as leaves, people and animals are given a new interpretation in order to reflect the true nature of things. The artist concentrates on the attentive and sensitive observation of the hidden.
