This painting brings an atmosphere of mystical reflection and subtle elegance into the room. I have dedicated myself to the absence of light, exploring the fascination of black. 12 pure black tones of acrylic paints, pigments and ink combine to create a profound play of geometry and cubist forms. Not all black is the same. The palette of black reaches up to over 99 percent absorption. This very special black always remains deep dark and exciting in the work, without any reflection. Otherwise, the actually monochrome black work shimmers and shimmers in many facets and always differently. Sometimes it is deeply dark, sometimes it glows blue and brown. The spatial effect of the triangles arranged in rotation then intensifies immensely. A solitary(?) golden triangle made of metal leaf breaks through the colorful minimalism in the infinitely colorful darkness and expands our sensory horizon.
