Picture "Promenade des Anglais" (2023)
Summer in Nice, southern France. On the Promenade des Anglais, people sit on benches and enjoy the warm and sunny summer day. Some are looking towards the sea. Others to the beautiful city with palm trees on the Côte d'Azur. Here and there a couple of lovers stroll embracing. In the background you can see the dome with the French flag of the hotel Le Negresco. And on the left side a few country flags are waving around, like the Stars and Stripes or the Tricolor. Oil painting on canvas in spatula technique with certificate of authenticity, and signed on the front and back. Professional stretcher frame of German manufacture, made of softwood. Covered by hand. June 2023.
